The OC community was feeling especially generous this year on Giving Tuesday.

On Nov. 29, the OC Foundation worked with campuses to organize Giving Tuesday drives in support of student food banks. Kelowna hosted a coffee and cookie pit stop, and Penticton hosted a pancake breakfast. All told, more than $2,000 was raised at all four campuses and an abundance of food items were donated to pantries supporting students in need. Funds raised will support stocking those shelves with needed food and personal hygiene items.
